Thoughts repeated over time, no matter how incorrect, become consolidated in our minds as beliefs because we’ve repeatedly affirmed them over and over again.

About This Quote

This quote is one of my absolute favorites. I love the concept of thoughts repeated over time, no matter how incorrect, becoming consolidated in our minds as beliefs because we’ve repeatedly affirmed them over and over again. The more we repeat something, the more likely it is that we will begin to believe it to be true. This is why it is so important to challenge our beliefs often. Even if your beliefs are correct, it does not mean that you should never change them or update them.
